Reporting in focus: Clarity, purpose and efficacy

Since the merging of the CSO and OPCS in 1996 the Office for National Statistics conducts a broad range of data collection across society in the United Kingdon. From crime, education, public spending, population and employment the ONS works to devise, collate and analyse a broad range of data sets. This workshop will explore the approaches used and their relevance for risk management across the three tiers of government in Australia.

About your workshop leader:

Alex Dunn, Head of Risk, Office for National Statistics (UK)

 

Alex Dunn has worked at the House of Commons as a Parliamentary Researcher, at the Bank of England for over five years in multiple roles and has been seconded over to the Office for National Statistics since May 2021 to act as the head of Risk. Educated at the Universities of Exeter, LSE and Hull Alex holds a BA, MSc and MBA and has been identified as a future senior leader within the public sector in the United Kingdom.
