Workshop Synopsis
Technology is reshaping every aspect of risk management. Artificial intelligence, automation, predictive analytics, cyber threats, digital platforms, and rapidly evolving data environments are changing not only the risks organisations face, but also the tools available to manage them.
This highly interactive workshop will help risk, governance, assurance, and executive leaders understand how to harness technology to strengthen risk management capability while avoiding the common pitfalls associated with emerging technologies.
Participants will explore how leading organisations are using technology to improve risk identification, monitoring, reporting, decision-making, and organisational resilience. The workshop will also examine the governance, capability, ethical, and cultural considerations that must accompany technology-enabled risk management.
Participants will work on:
- Assessing the maturity of their current technology-enabled risk capabilities
- Identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, analytics, and digital tools within their risk frameworks
- Mapping emerging technology-related risks and control responses
- Evaluating governance, oversight, and assurance requirements for AI-enabled environments
- Designing a practical roadmap to improve technology-enabled risk management capability within their organisation

ABOUT YOUR WORKSHOP LEADER:
Charitee Davies, Associate Director, Governance Professional, Grosvenor Group
Charitee Davies is a nationally recognised governance, risk, assurance and organisational resilience specialist with more than 25 years’ experience helping government agencies, regulators and statutory authorities strengthen performance, accountability and decision-making.
Charitee leads complex reviews and advisory engagements across governance, enterprise risk, assurance, organisational resilience, operating models and organisational capability. Her work focuses on helping leaders identify critical vulnerabilities, strengthen organisational safeguards and build the capability required to navigate uncertainty and disruption.
Charitee is the author of the Grosvenor Better Practice Governance Model, lead researcher and author of the Annual National Governance Study, and Chair of Australia’s Governance BrainsTrust. Her research examines emerging challenges facing boards, executives and senior leaders, including resilience, risk culture, assurance, workforce capability, technology disruption and decision-making under pressure.
Prior to consulting, Charitee held Senior Executive Service roles in the Australian Public Service with responsibility for governance, risk, audit, regulatory performance, organisational design and major reform delivery.
She is known for her practical, high-trust approach, strong critical thinking and ability to translate complex governance and risk issues into clear, actionable improvements.
