Portfolio Manager – Infrastructure

Mark joined First State Super in May 2014 as Portfolio Manager – Infrastructure based in Sydney. He is responsible for strategy setting, origination, implementation, ongoing asset and portfolio management in relation to First State Super’s global infrastructure portfolio. This coverage includes infrastructure and infrastructure-like direct & managed investments.
Prior to First State Super, Mark was a Project Director at Leighton Contractors for almost 5 years responsible for direct equity investments in construction & PPP projects and consortium project leadership. Prior to that Mark was senior member of the infrastructure team at ABN AMRO and subsequently Babcock & Brown for collectively almost 10 years where he was responsible for origination & execution of direct equity & debt investments, ongoing asset management, financial advisory, structuring & arranging roles in Sydney, San Francisco and New York.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce (Finance Major with Merit) from the University of New South Wales (1998). He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Company Directors Course Diploma (2010).
